Leganto – Major Contributions
Over the past year, I led alongside the product and development teams two of the most significant projects in Leganto — a platform trusted by over a million users across leading academic institutions worldwide, including Ivy League universities.
Application Redesign:
I spearheaded the full redesign of Leganto from the ground up both UX and UI. The application was originally built with Bootstrap and JavaScript, and I led the effort to rebuild it entirely using Angular Material, delivering a modern, scalable, and maintainable web application.
Full VPAT Certification – WCAG AA:I owned and managed the entire accessibility certification process, bringing Leganto to full VPAT compliance at the WCAG AA standard. This involved coordinating and leading both developers and designers throughout a long and complex process, ensuring every aspect of the product met the required accessibility guidelines.
Leganto, the Ex Libris resource list management system helps you foster meaningful learning and enhance student success in online, on-campus, and hybrid learning environments.
Leganto enables you to streamline access to course materials and reduce their cost by leveraging library collections, expertise, and services.
Faculty can easily build lists of resources that include all material types, librarians can provide resources more efficiently and scale up to support more courses, and students can access all course materials in one place and from any device.
Leganto is embedded into your learning management system (LMS), and tightly integrates with Ex Libris Alma, library discovery services, mobile apps, citation tools, and other campus systems.
